Default Off with the 14's & On with the 15's

Greetings all,

Since this is my first post please forgive me for not being as familiar with my honda as I should be. I'm not as young as I use to be and don't have alot of time to tinker on it as I would like to. With that being said here's my question.

I have a 1995 Honda Accord LX with 14" OEM steel wheels with hubcaps. I recently purchased a set of 15" OEM alloy wheels off a 1996 Honda Accord EX. The original steel wheel tire size is 185/70R/14 87S and the new alloy wheel tire size is 195/60R/15 88H.

I know that the factory EX model's come standard with this package. But before I spend big $$$ for new tires for the alloy wheels I thought I would ask some professionals their thoughts. Will it work???

I have bolted the alloy wheels to the hub and the bolt pattern is correct. I just don't know about the offsets and things like that. I will be going with the factory recommended tire size of 195/60R/15 88H. I was also hoping to reuse the same lug nuts if that's possible.

I just want to try to clean up the looks of the car keeping it stock in apperance. Plus I'm just tired of looking at the rusty steel wheels and hubcaps with the paint flaking off.

Thanks in advance,
Joe

That'll work just fine. The lug nuts will work, but the nuts that are supposed to go with aluminum rims don't have the little plastic ring to hold the wheel-cover on.

Where do you live? Get some snow tires for the old steelies?
