Default Rim Widths for 1999-2002 Accord Sedans V6

Whats up Everybody!!!!,
I'm new to this site so forgive me if I post something someone else has already posted previously.
So I have a Honda Accord Sedan 99' and I am looking into purchasing some rims and tires but I want a real good look but the most comfortable set up I can get. So I understand from my research that when purchasing a coilover kit my ride is going to be a bit more dingy with the addition of my low profiles soooooo. I am wondering what is the widest rim that I can place in the front and back without the rubbing at 19 inches. I know that I can place 8.0-8.5 inches but can I place 9.0-9.5 inches in front and back to produce a deeper lip? What do you guys think

I think I'm confused. You said you wanted comfort. Don't they get stiffer & harsher as they get wider?
There's not a lot of sidewall anyway with 19" wheels, so both diameter & width seem to go against comfort.

Wow is that so? So the wider the rim equates to a rougher ride? Damn that suks major oh well I guess I will just stick with the 8.5s. But hey is there a difference in ride comfort with lowering springs versus a coilover kit?

Not that much. Coilover kit allows you to adjust the height.

Wider rim with a narrower tire is a subtle difference.
Going to a wider tire is rougher, but still not very strong difference.

The biggest noticable difference is just 19" of any width, compared to 16" or 17".

To chime in on this thread. I also have an accord it's an 02 4dr se. I'm going to put function & form coilovers on it with 18in xxr 962 wheels. What do you guys think about this approach?

What size wheel and tire did you ended up installing? Can you provide feedback on your fitment and ride quality? I am very close to purchasing some 18 x 8.5's lightweights for my 98 accord v6 sedan. I know the 18" dia is workable but am more concerned about the wheel width as tirerack does not seem to endorse an 8.5" width wheel for my vehicle.. if any
one can advise i'd really appreciate it.. Thanks

James is correct in his statement, stiffer and harsher as they get wider..
