Default RIMs/Tires for my 07 Accord Coupe 4 cyl

I am currently on the hunt for some 18x7.5 rims...on this website wheelmax.com i found some rims I like. The recommended tire size is 235/40/18...my car is dropped almost 2 inches using eibach sportline springs well at least i think it is...will these fit. If not what is the better size??? I was thinking maybe getting 225 wheel width but i used this tire calculator thing and it will make my speedometer reading a little faster than it really is...suggestions??

Offset matters more than the tire size ..... most Accords are good with a 42-48 offset ...... which brings up another point ...... please put the car info in your signature.

Asking about the wheels he's looking at, not the stock ones. Just about every honda's stock wheel offset is 55.

agreed .... 45 is the most common that is recommended ..... I think for 7" width though .... BCK, can you confirm that? If so, 7.5" width would be better with 42mm, no?

remember that we are talking milimeters here, so there is a little give in the exact #.

So I decided the tire size imma go with on an 18x7.5 rim is a 215/45/18...i used a tire calculator and that gave the best reading....i know thats an approximate figure....as far as offset...would the difference between a 42 and 45 really show?? does 42 pop out past the fender on a rim??? My car is lowered about 2 inches...so i wanna make sure im clear...my back tire is cambering still havent got the camber kit but will soon...I dont want it to pop out past the fender...

Tell you what man. I have some 18" Konig Incident with a 45mm offset and the wheel sticks out just about a bare .5 inch. It pisses me off because when I bought these I wasn't sure I wanted to lower my car and now that I do it bugs me that I can't because of the wheels. I have a 2001 Accord im not sure if the same rule applies to yours but be aware 45mm offset will stick out just barely.
