tell me what is wrong here
so i had a slow leak in one of my brand new tires, it lost about 10psi a week. i kept putting it off and putting it off filling it up every week or so. then one day on my way to school it blows out on me. ruining the sidewall.
So i buy another tire and replace that one....not even a week later the same thing happens with a different tire on a different rim.
do i just have incredibly bad luck, or is there something i am missing.
please help me because i have had about enough of my cars crap right now.

You need to find the leak. Spray the tire with water and dish soap so it bubbles when you find the leak. Chances are good that you need a new valve stem, not a new tire.

Falkore beat me to it. Mix water and dish soap together in a spray bottle. Remove the wheel from your car. Spray the soapy water solution all over that sucker. You will find the leak in no time. The soapy water will cause it to bubble like crazy wherever the leak is. You won't be able to miss it.

and i'm assuming the sidewall is ruined on the second flat tire like it was on the first...........so i think i'm calling it quits with these rims cause they are too heavy.
time to buy some nice 15 or 16s
