What Brand Of Tires Do You Think Is Best-? Need Help-!
I'm upgrading from OEM 205.60.16 to 18 inchers. I was wonder what size tires you guys are running on-?
i need something that won't be slower than the speedometer. I used the calc and the closest is 225.45.18. Although i did manage to come up with some sizes that are closer than the one stated above. I just need some input.
Most of all i was wondering what's the best tire out there for all-performance. I need something that will brake on a dime and not skid, and something that works great during wet weather. I put emphasis on this b/c i've had bad experiences with hydroplanning. [:@] So far i'm familiar with Bridgestone Turanzas [will run me about $154 per tire]. But right now i'm open for cheaper equivalents. Thanks for any help-!

I am a fan of the Kumho Ecsta ASXs. I had them all last year and they were great in the rain, dry and even the snow. The price are not to bad for the size. I have a new set of wheels (18) and just got them in 225/ 40r-18. Big difference over the Nitto NT-450s that came on the wheels.

Had same problem with my OEM Bridgestones Turz. Now I'm running Falken Ziex 512s 215/70-R17s in FL where there is lots o rain. They're awesome! I commute 130 miles a day mostly highway and I can run at 70-80mph without hydro-p. I'd look at these, they ran me about 82 a pc. + shipping. Around $400 total.
