Default What size tires for 18's?

I have an 03' Accord Coupe and I am wanting to get the 18x7.5 Konig Trouble rims and I don't know what size tire to get? I have been told to get different size tires, 215/45/18, 225/40/18.....what size? Thanks

225/40/18 would be a better performer. 215/45/18 would be a little softer. It has a wider patch and thicker side wall. Which translates into better grip and ride comfort. The reason you receive two different recommendations is because the 225 and 215 mm section can fit a +/- .5 inches larger or smaller than the ideal rim. The measured rim for a 215 is a 7.5" while it's 8" for a 225. Honestly you can run either one. You could probably run atleast three other sizes on the same rim and not effect the speedometer much.
