Default Wheel opinions please...

Got a 97 accord lx sedan...silver with the black side moldings

i'm looking into getting some 17" rims

opinions...: should i go with black to accent the side moldings, silver to keep basic? any other suggestions? also i'm debating between enkei or52, voxx monza, drag dr-19, or what do yall suggest? i don't want something that looks too much from the "hood" or to flashy, but noticeable...also i plan on dropping the car to keep a clean, non-gawdy look with the wheels...how far can i drop it without any rubbing?

thanks, and sorry for all the questions. i know wheels are a matter of personal opinion for the driver, buti am very indecisive, lol

pictures attached so you can better form your opinions if necessary

I would get silver wheels if you dont want to be flashy. In my opinion, black wheels w/ or w/o the polished lip are almost as played out as lambo doors, lol.

And I like all the wheels, Ive never heard of Voxx so maybe stay away from them... the Enkeis will be the highest quality, they are the wheel supplier for Honda. And the Drags are not bad.

I think it looks really good, and should give you some insight on how your ride may look.

Thumbs down

Depends on the look ur trying 2 achieve. 4 me, darker matte wheels look better with grey or silver Accords, more like what Honda might do as a performance option. Just my 2 cents.

I have seen the black w polished lip look good, but that was deep dish 18s on a red Accord. They went nicely with the chrome window trim.

U could always photoshop ur ride, its not perfect but it will give u a good idea of how they will look. Some good wheel/tyre places will let u "try on" a set of wheels 4 free or a small fee. Otherwise just do heaps of research. Cardomain is great, HEAPS of Accords with different wheels. U might even see a style or colour that u hadnt considered b4.

Whatever u decide, dont rush in2 ur purchase. U may cringe whenever u look @ ur wimpy stock wheels/hubcaps but a wheel upgrade is 1 of the biggest visual changes u can make, so do it once n do it right. Nothing worse than shelling out big bickies n being slightly disappointed. U may b able 2 repaint ur stock wheels (theyre probably Enkeis) Ive seen them painted black, n look good 4 the dollars spent. They look decent enough 2 get u by while u research other, pricier wheels.

Hope that helps
