Default XXR wheels

Has any one ever used this rims? I was thinking about getting them whenever I run into the money. I have a 92 accord, and I was thinking about that 962 http://XXR-962-Wheels-17x9-Gold-p/96279087.htm or 518 [XXR-518-Wheels-15-inch-Gold-p/51855497.htm?[/url] What do you think? any good or bad things about XXR brand?

I was once going to get me some XXR wheels myself but after reading many reviews and seeing that not many people bought them for a reason, i stayed away. However, since I have not personally owned them I can't tell you anything for sure. Do they make good looking wheels? Sure, but the quality might lack in all that the looks don't. I'd keep more reputable brands in mind. Enkei, 5Zigen and Drag are a few good, affordable brands who also have a nice looking selection of wheels.

I think XXR wheels look great. Ive thought about getting the five bar in hyper silver cant remember the number 002 or something. I think they just replicate other manufacturers wheels and sell them at a cheaper price but dont quote me on that Id still roll on em for the price you cant beat it.

my brother bought some like a few weeks before they changed to xxr, but they have done good so far, except the polished alluminum center cap like faded, so he took pics of it and emailed them, and they mailed four new ones.

I too am curious about the quality of XXR wheels. I was looking at those gold 006's on Ebay, and I really like the look of them. After searching the web, I find generally negative reviews, but they seem to be from people who have never actually owned a set, and malign the wheels simply because they are not Work, SSR, Volks etc. Most of those reviews are of the "I've heard.." or "Everyone knows.." variety. I've yet to find a review by an actual owner that list particular shortcomings of the brand. I think the only thing I can find that could be seen as a detriment, is the weight. They are definitely not the lightest, if that's important to you.
