Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
Picked up this "gem" from my uncle for CHEAP! It was running but not really drivable. Honda cancer (rust!), a shot clutch master cylinder, rusted out exhaust, minor body damage, shot brakes, a shot paint job and an abused interior all add up to one big project and many, many learning opportunities.
Completed repairs/new parts so far:
Clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder
Tie rod bushings
Lower ball joints
All new front brakes
Plugs and wires
Valve cover gasket and related gaskets
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
None (yet!)
Suspension Modifications:
None (yet!)
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
None (yet!)
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
None that I've done yet. Past owners: Aftermarket CD deck, alarm system (maybe??), sub wiring, and a half-finished speaker removal.
Future Modifications:
Get it running solid. Work out electronic bugs. LOTS of rust/dent removal and bodywork. New paint (color TBD). All new brakes: rotors, calipers, pads, and braided brake lines. New suspension: Minimal drop (less than 1") with struts and coils. New exhaust: Headers to hi-flow cat to new catback (no fart can stuff though, just let it breathe!). Short RAM intake, 16" wheels/tires. Replace door panels, steering wheel and carpet (all are shot). These are preliminary plans, I'm sure they will change along the way. Overall, I'm going for a nearly stock appearance with just a bit more attitude.
