Bolt comes out easily using a screwdriver through a hole in the shaft to hold back.

There was no retainer bracket to hold the seal in. I could push the seal back in with slight resistance and pull it out again with my fingernails.

070a1 when lower cam moves downward it releases the upper cam. If the upper cam or its spring is jammed.... shaking/pulling the door may release the striker

071c lower cam must move downward to release upper cam which holds door striker. If lower cam or its spring are jammed it may take a lot of force to move it.

071b two posts that must be drilled before 3 attaching bolts are drilled. Probably good idea to try move the locking cams any way you can before drilling.

2 actuators ( in 2 months) jammed....door could not be locked. On removal of the actuator normal functioning of the latch returned. Bought complete power lock assembly (latch actuator) from online Honda dealer...no problem so far.

I bought the new seal from Red's Auto Rehab on Ebay for $10 delivered (o-ring included). It fit perfectly. The bearing was fine (I didn't have a replacement, anyhow.) But, I did note the markings ...JAPAN NSK 6000DU.

I drove the pin out with a 1/8" pin punch cradling the gear in a notch cut in a 2X4 held in a vise. It is tight! 5/32" punch with a heavy hammer would work better than what I used. Do not pull or turn the shaft bushing like I did!
