Im nearly positive my timing belt snapped yesterday... I know the f22 in my 92 lx is an interferance engine, in your experience, what are the chances i just smashed all my valves? please tell me there is a chance when i fix it i will be ok. does it have a safegaurd?

im currently driving my baby, a 85 300zx turbo, which i love. unfortunately, its not licenced, so very illegal. i need my little accord! soon! any advise would be great!!! thanks!

If the timing belt snapped, the only way to truly know the extent of the damage is to take apart the engine and inspect the parts.  Then your options are a rebuild or a used replacement engine.  Salvage yards often have fairly low mileage f22 engines for good prices.
Take off the timing belt cover and see if the belt really snapped.

if you were rolling while it snapped i think some of the valves may have gotten bent...same thing happened to my brothers porsche 944...wow id love to have a turbo on my 85 supra

its actually a really difficult process, just went through it myself not to long ago. honestly wouldnt recommend you do it yourself. i spent over $400 bucks and its still not fixed. i should have just taken it to a shop and spend $200 and get it running! its on you though just thought id give you the heads up.
