Well now I've really done it. I hit a parked car on Tuesday and totaled my Honda. I'm so sad. The frame is broken and the entire wheel assembly is 5 inches back from where it should be. Everything under the hood seems fine so if you know anyone that need some Honda parts in the New Orleans Area send me a message. Wish me luck gettin' a new one....... I sadly bid HAF Adieu for now.

Thanks, I'm not hurt, but I think I am probably cheaper to fix than the car....lol.

true... but they don't sell original parts for your body, and replacement parts are not insured nor they have warranty...

Hit a parked car? I bet $50 you were on your cell phone.

Actually, it was none of the above. I thought about telling everyone I was drunk so I would at least have an excuse...lol. But I was sober and not on the phone, not fiddling with the radio. It was a dark car, parked the wrong way on a dark road at night. Now, I'm committing the ultimate sin and driving a stupid ol' Toyota till I can afford to get a new Accord. I know I'm in the wrong place, but if y'all know how I can make it faster, let me know. The acceleration sucks. I'm going to get a K&N air filter....I dont know what else though.

That is usually only moms in Suburbans. I swear, every suburban I see is a woman driving w/ no one else or 1 kid on the cell phone. IT ticks me off so much. When the GF is with me she gets pretty pissed when I start my rant on that stuff.

Wait for the Accord to throw parts on. If your selling that 'yota when you get the Accord it will be much easier to sell unmodded.

Oh, that's a good point. It is kind of a soccer mom car. (a Rav4). I feel like I'm driving the nerd-mobile. Definately not cool like my Honda....

So you think my twin turbo J35 6sp in my 6th gen isn't legit? C'mon guys, I thought we were family.
As for the Rav4 *yuck* I'd just stick with the K&N filter and stay at that point. When I was looking for a car I came across and H22 swapped 5th gen al professionally done, but it had been sitting on CarSoup for almost a year. Think about it this way, at least you're not driving a Yaris or a Prius. If you're not over 50, that grounds for committing suicide right there.

Gee whiz. Thanks for makin me feel better about the nerd-mobile....you have a way with words. lol. I have to say that I have a better appreciation for the speed and quickness of my little Honda.

You dont know what you've got, till it's gone, I suppose.

ROFL! I totally laughed out loud when I read that. I sort of agree. But with gas prices these days, the Prius is loking a lot cooler to me than it used to

I have spent a lot of time looking at their rear ends while tailgating them since they're so freaking slow. I'll keep my 35 mpg and coolness factor as gas keeps going up. I've seen A LOT of full-size trucks and SUVs for sale lately. What's the matter guys? Having a car powerful enough to tow your boat twice a year plus having room for your 1 kid and wife's umbrella and make-up isn't worth $100 fill-ups?
