Default 1998 accord ex v6 brake light

98 accord v6. I have replaced all for pads rotors, brake flush, new brake master and booster. All the brake lights work in the back. The bake light warning light comes on randomly. I had a shop, I real shop to see if it had codes and it said low pressure in the abs pump? I looked around and only honda sells it know for $1200

We cleared the code and drove it and the code came right back. the peddle feel is fine. some times there is no peddle feel, it goes to the floor, so I figure it is the pump. Has anybody had to deal with this or a problems like this?

The brake warning light started coming on right after I changed the master and booster. The master was bad it was leaking like crazy.

Which warning lamp is coming on?

What codes are you getting from any of the MIL's (engine, D4, ABS)?

Usually when the pedal goes to the floor without any or very little stopping that is a sign the master cyl is bad or you have a leak somewhere.

the red brake light. it flickers on and off when you hit the brakes.

the code is low pressure in the brake system. I did not not see what the number of the code was.

i guess it could be a bad master I got. The brakes feel fine and the peddles tight like it should be but other times it goes to the floor almost like there is no peddle feel. the car stops but its like I have no power brakes. and the brake light is on when this happens. Or if I use the e-brake and put it down the brake light will stay on.

The fluid leave has not moved a drop and I do not see any brake fluid anywhere leaking.

Really sounds like the brake master is/has gone bad.

Okay, the master would give the system low pressure, right? I will get another and see what happens.

thank you

Yes, a failure of the master will give a low pressure, but you should have written down the code. If there is air trapped in the ABS unit or the internal mechanisms of the pump are failing that can cause a low pressure.
