96 Honda Accord Pulley and Crank Damaged?
#11
Hey looks like I was able to get the key out! I was pulling on the wrong part but now it's out.
Woodruff key:
Pulley with no key:
So I guess all I have to do now is get a new key and harmonic balancer. Is there a specific way to put the key in or does it just push in and stay secure.

Disconnect the battery so you don't accidentally try to start the car with the key removed. Do not try to rotate the engine by hand, because the timing belt will not move with the crankshaft with that key removed.
I am almost positive that the key will have one end that is flat. The other will be rounded (a half moon shape). The flat end will point away from the engine. The rounded end will point towards the engine. From your pics, I think the key may have been installed backwards.

Apparently RockAuto sells the key with the harmonic balancer so looks like I'm set. Oh one more thing, how do I know when it's at the correct torque spec while tightening? Thanks again for the help everyone.

I assume you used a restraint tool to loosen. Use same tool to retighten. A torque wrench is best but requires 180 ft-lbs capacity and most 1/2" stop at 150 ft-lbs. I tightened to 150 ft-lbs and then estimated final torque.
good luck
