Hello all,

My 1997 accord V6 EX AC compressor took a dump. I've been using a AC shop for years that I trust in. The guy told me my compressor was shot and to look on eBay. He says compressors for V6 aren't as common as for the 4 cylinder. This makes it hard to locate one in a timely fashion.

The compressor was rebuild once by another local big AC shop but the system never worked well after that. That when I found this small shop. Any recommendations on where you guys locate a quality compressor. I live in a hot humid climate and being without AC is going to blow during this weekend. I'm always hearing form 4 cylinder Honda owners on how ice cold their AC are.

I just checked both NAPA and Autozone and they both list remanufactured and new A/C compressors for your car; the NAPA compressors are a special order item, the Autozone compressors are apparently in stock (I assume local warehouse stock).
