Trans solenoid bad?

BTW-with a Honda I'd add one to your list-PS Fluid,,,,,ONLY use Honda/Acura approved (not universal) fluid....
IMHO, we can debate about coolant, but there really is not one when it comes to trans (94 and up) and PS fluid....
Anytime you are dealing with fluid levels, the "book" is the starting point, IMO always "sneek" up on the correct level....why just put 2 1/2 in when you really need 2 3/4 to have it right...the "book" says 4.38 qts for engine oil in my 95.....so I put 4 and a tad more....then I check, fill, check, fill and check again....until I get the proper reading on the stick under the proper procedure

Well the problem started with Honda ATF in it. U read wrong. It was serviced at the dealer all its life. I changed it to Amsoil to try to alleviate it. Honestly I would be extremely surprised if it had anything to do w the Amsoil due to that. Especially w the level of quality Amsoil provides and I run it and have ran it in all my vehicles and friends vehicles for the last 5 years with nothing but better perf. And mpg than factory fluids. So really hesitant to throw all that out. And I had a trans guy i know do a full change for me when I started using Amsoil.

Well i have been meaning to check the trans fluid cold like i said and i finally remembered. It was low so i added a few oz. before i drove it. Seemed ok but hadnt been horribly long since i drove it last (maybe 5 hours and it was in the garage). Have to test when it is really cold. Always checked topped off warm though which is concerning but could have been a false reading with splatter and such. We'll see. Would b nice if it was just a low fluid cold issue.
