••• New-one of the best Shift **** for Accourd •••
This is my first post here ,first of all i would like to Apologize for my spelling.
I live in NY City and i have 2009 Honda Accord 3.5L V6 coupe 6MT.One year ago when i purchase my car first thin cut my eye poor quality some car interior.
Very high heavy uncomfortable shifting on manual transmission and poor quality on shift boot design for US market.
I have to change this!
Here's is result Custom shift boot design Redlinegoods.com
in one week deliver from Poland ,high quality Italian Leather shift boot.Next i order from Australian Honda dealer (Honda Accord Euro-R) Gear Shift **** 6MT Metal cost me $220.High quality original Honda (Made in Italy) brushed aluminum shift ****.
Before installation i buy in ACE hardware 10M Cutting Hand Die Tool.I screw off old shift ****,make more tread using 10M Hand Die Tool to bottom of shift rod.
Then use very fine Metal-Cutting Saws and cut almost 1 1/2".Screw new shift **** and apply new boot clip with zip on bottom.
Big difference on shifting and Comfort of driving! (lighter and shorter)
I think i hold shift more in my hand then before because its feels allot better!!!
(NOTE: if you have 6MT accord cut off 1" to 11/2" shift and you''ll find different car in your hands)

why not buy a short shifter? Will do the same thing for cheaper and no serious modifications needed. Then add a balanced shift ****. Like this one
....I loved it but I went with a smaller shift **** since I do ALOT of racing.
A balanced shift **** is GREAT for a daily driver.

There's no short shifter at this moment on market for Accord 2008+
You can buy adapters on e-bay but there's no official short shifter for latest accord.
Also i would like something match with dash bord and aluminum trim. I can buy MUGEN or other JDM shift ***** or there's more brands. But i would like something from Honda original.
Your shift **** nice (classic_good _brand) but not my taste and not my type i like something like Performance Honda_ORIGINAL

I
I feel ya. The adapters are the same thing. All a short shifter does is move the right shift linkage up the shifter by 1in. The only thing I can see that would be bad is if the cable would rub your shifter console. If it dose at all.
But I understand you want to keep everything OEM...power to ya. can't do that I have to have the performance aspect of things since I do like to race.
