can it be done without looking like a rhinosoaurous getting friendly with a midwestern woman that has been stuck on a couch for two years due to her eating habits?

I know, that is something I haven't seen and figured it could be two things, either noone wants to spend about the same amount of money for another factory bumper as they could for a much more agressive looking aftermarket one, or b.... the whole zoo animal thing. thanks though.
