I have a '99 LX coupe and I've been thinking about swapping out my front bumper with an '01-'02 bumper. Looks lots nicer and the fog lights I'm thinking about getting are lots easier to install. My only concern is if it will fit, i.e. bumper clips, screws, mounting.

I understand the hood will not line up with the grille perfectly but I'm more concerned with all the holes lining up.

 

Im assuming they are going to be a little different, but where theres a will theres a way brother...

 

Personally I prefer the 98-00 style. I have a factory installed bumper lip and fog lights on my 99 and it looks pretty good. I'll post pics of my car one of these days but yeah, I'd say go for a subtle lip and pay someone to make the cuts for fogs (unless you have the tools and confidence to do it yourself), and then get aftermarket fogs. The costs might add up but an OEM bumper wont be cheap either.
