Default 08-10 small rear spoiler lip

I want to put the small spoiler lip on my trunk, i'm thinking about purchased a pre painted one from ebay. My question is, will this make the weight on the trunk lid so much that the trunk lid will not stay open by itself? this happened to my 2005 honda accord. After the DEALERSHIP installed the spoiler, the trunk lid would not stay open, and i went to dealer numerous times to have them fix the problem, and they just kept telling me thats just how it is. it wasn't until about a year ago that i found out the springs need to be replaced with stronger ones to hold the lid up. Upon my new found knowledge i went back to the dealer, and they still refused to fix the problem. Now my question is, will i have the same issue with the 2010 accord, and the smaller rear deck lip spoiler. will i need stronger springs to prevent the trunk lid from falling?

Check the weight of the spoiler... It is probably made of fiberglass and will be fairly light... If so you shouldnt have a problem, and if you do, you already know the solution, so you should be alright...

Default Hey There

If you want a spoiler, then buy one...you can always carry a stick around to hold it up.

When it's closed -only you know about the stck...RIGHT?
