I have a 2002 honda accord se that I just got from my sister-in-law and as i was cleaning it out i noticed that the wood trim around the shifter is starting to peel, im guessing it is a clear coat they put on it but anyways I was thinking about just pulling it out and sanding it down and painting it. Anyone else here done this and can offer advice and/or pics? I am not looking to fix this car up very much so im not looking to put very much money into it but it is still a great car and with a few adjustments will be back to showroom condition. Thanks!
