Hi Im an Idiot but i was wondering if there was an inexpensive way to make the headlights look blue like BMW (if its as simple as changing bulbs???)
ANy suggestions would be appreciated

I think what you are looking for are HID's.I have an 08 blue accord coupe and i too am looking to buy HID's. If you want them to look blue go with 10000K's or 8000'ks.The sizeofthe bulbs forthe 08 accord coupe are H11's

 

If by blue, you mean purple. Try 6500K.

 

If you want a deep blue color go with 8000 K- 10000k but people say you may be harrassed by the cops. 08 accord coupes come with projectors which betters the focus of the light and decreases glare. Different companies have different color temperatures but here are the colors in most websites..

4300-5000 K = Crystal White
6000-7000 K = Aqua Blue
8000- 9000 K = Iceburg Blue
10000 K = Deep Blue (Some websites say purple but its more blue than purple)
12000 K = Violet Blue

Depending on what company you buy from, the results may vary.

 

Some companies may even say 6000-7000 is "Diamond White" -- a more crisp white than the 4000-5000k

 

I am considering an HID kit for my accord as well and I think I will go with the 12k kit for the violet look to stand out. I am also saving up for the mugen tune up kit for my new 2008 Honda Accord. This kit will completely change the look of my accord and look amazing. I cant wait for the upgrades!

 

12k headlights will come expensive... once the cops start handing out the tickets it will demand.
