Hey guys,

I bought a brand new 2011 Honda Accord LX. It is black with tinted windows. I was thinking of putting smoky taillights. i think that will look good on my car. i wanted to find your opinions and whether it is legal here in Texas or not to have that kind of taillights.

I was also thinking of installing HID lights.

I was not too much into customization. But after i bought this car I want to change the look of it, so that it is unique in others eyes since there are too many similar looking cars out there. Please give me your opinions and where to purchase them n which parts to purchase.

For the purposes of pure legality, HIDs are almost never legal on a car that doesn't come with HIDs stock in pretty much every state. That said, unless you plan on getting ridiculous purple, pink, or green HIDs or unless you plan on aiming those things sky high to blind everyone, you will likely never get pulled over for having aftermarket HIDs.
