Hey all, I'm buying some racing seats for my 97 Accord, and I plan to sell my stock seats. Well, a friend of mine wants to buy the stock seats and put them into his 97 Civic, but we don't know yet if they'll fit (without physically doing the labor), so I'm asking you guys. Is it possible to take out the stock seats of a 97 Accord and place them into a 97 Civic? If so, are any adjustments needed, and what kind? Thank you in advance.

 

ive never messed with seats before but if the sliders line up and the stock ones fit in i dont see why they would not work in his civ. it may be sumthing you have to physically check not sure tho man

im sure that someone on here would know about this, it really isn't that hard to take the seats out anyways, it's just 4 bolts, and the seatbelts i guess, but i've taken mine out of my civic a couple of times and it only took about an hour

 

Antarctica! Would you PLEASE let me know EVERYTHING about installing those race seats? I am going to do that in my 97 as well within two months and cannot find ANY info. I tried to take the seats out of a crx and put them in my civic and the rails didn't line up. I had to make some adapter plates for the rails. It was a pain in the ***. I'd bet the seat height is way different from an accord to a civic as well so if they did fit, they may be a little high.
