Default Accord Trunk Spoiler

Hey guys, it's been a while since my last post, but i felt the need to inform you all about my latest score/mod.

I picked up a Genuine Honda trunk spoiler for my 02 LX from a Honda dealer out of Virginia. The dealer is Mechanicsville Honda (www . magauto . com) they also have a few other dealerships including Audi, Acura, VW, and Toyota/Scion.

Anyway, they had my spoiler in stock (genuine part, factory paint matched, proper paint code, all hardware, and heavy duty trunk springs) so i scooped one.

I can't wait to put it on, i'm really excited. the sad part is, i'm most likely going to wait until i can get some help from my dad because he has a LOT more drill bits and tools than i have access to at the present time (and so i can use his garage) but that means i'm going to have to wait until he/we finish the Del Sol re-assembly to sell it (it just got fresh paint, factory Honda red, looks awesome)...

long story short, it might be a few days before i get to put it on, it's really hard to resist the temptation to just go at it myself, but i want this done right, so i'll just have to be patient.

anyway, also wanted to say that if anyone is interested, magauto.com has trunk spoilers (real genuine parts already painted) on clearance (trying to get rid of stock i guess) and they have a few other random accessories for various year accords, not just the 98-02's

i'll post up pics of the new spoiler as soon as i get a second, and of course pictures of the spoiler on the car will follow.

later,

Moddage

Nice score. I just got one for my 05 coupe for under $200 delivered. Install was pretty easy. You and your father should get it done without to much trouble. Good luck.

Hahah, I think spoilers on a FF car is lame, but whatever makes you happy.

Mine has one. :/
