Default Anyone Know How To Black Out The Reverse Lights On a 2005 Coupe?

Does anyone know how to this? I don't know if they just put a piece of black film or changed the actual light.

VHT Nightshades is a translucent spray used for blacking out plastic... Do a good tape job, and you can do as many coats as you want, untill you get the desired tint... Heres a pic of my tails on my cutty

Usually you have to request it to be ordered and Advanced Auto or whatnot.

Most people just spray the Niteshades, but I always put a UV resistant clear coat over it. Removal would require sanding.

Orielleys auto parts always has it in. In the paint section. The UV resistant clear coat is a good idea, but not necessary
The stuff is removable. I had to take mine off of that oldsmobile up top the first time I did it, because it was too dark and I got pulled over. Then I re-did it as pictured up top... My suggestion is to not do more than 3 solid coats. The cop said you have to be able to see the light(light up) at 500 feet. Which mine was, cop was just a hater...lol
