I'm painting my accord next week and discovered a new dilemma. I bpught 2 stage urethane base and clear coat kit and I'm not sure about what to do about primer. I can't spend a lot on the primer and can get cheapish lacquer primer down the street. My question: can you use urethane base over lacquer primer? And can you do it without spraying a sealant over the primer?

You cannot use Lacquer primer with Urethane paint.

You only need primer if you took that car down to bare metal.
