I have 2 options

1. Take it out and re-paint it
2. A product call TrimBrite. Its a black adhesive tape similar to vinyl take, so you can tape over the current trim. Here is a link I found for instructions.

Go to carbonmods.co.uk for more info... Thats where I have always gotten my stuff in the past... I toyed around with making carbon parts for my gsxr a couple years back... Its a time consuming process, but once you get it down, you'll be able to do it more efficiently...

Default Wow !

That carbon thing sounds cool, but me being a lazy bum, i got some Krylon satin finish, black plastic paint, Heres wut i did, 1st cleaned area to be painted with a 50/50 mix of alcohol and water (sounds like a drink) twice, wiped it down till it evaporated, masked off areas that dont get painted, and sprayed away ! looks pretty good, will see how it holds up, i mite go back and put some clear coat of some kind on it Gonna try and get a pic up on it...

Well I put this on my faded tail lights....ttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320560508574&ssPageNam e=ADME:L:LCA:MOTORS:1123 See pics on my thread... That spray will chip off very soon. Even with clear. I had fender flairs pro painted over top of factory red paint and it lasted several years but is chipping now.
