Default Blue headlights?

Hey Guys,

Just got a 2010 Accord EX-L

Never been one to do many changes to my vehicles. But i would like to make this new car stand out a bit from the others. Getting windows tinted this weekend. I'll post pics after.

Anyway, I've always liked the blue headlights I see on other cars. Do you guys recemmend doing something like that? I dont want to do anything too expensive.
Where can I get blue lights. And if I do, do fog lights also get replaced?

I'm open to suggestions if you guys dont like the blue lights. I havent heard them mentioned here.

I think what you are referring to are HIDs. They come in different "temperatures" from 3000k which is yellow to 30000k which is purple. The blue ones are in the 12000-20000k range. The kits can be had for $60-100. Some are better than others. I'm not sure if DDM tuning still sells them but thats where I have gotten all mine from. They are pretty straight forward to install.

I was wondering about these headlights too. Are the conversion kits compatible with any vehicle?

Yes they are basically universal. Some times with the newer vehicles you will get a headlight out warning if you install a HID kit. But there is usually a way around that.

Be careful though......the "higher" up the temperature range you go, the less light output you get, which can affect your driving at night. I wouldn't get anything above 8k, which is pretty blue. And, the higher and more blue you go, the easier it is for cops to tell you have HIDs, and the more you run the risk of getting a ticket, since aftermarket HIDs are illegal.
