Default Bumper chip protection

I went to a honda dealer to ask about chip protection where they apply an invisible 3M shield on your front bumper to protect it from chips. The dealer quoted a price of $895 which actually shocked me as I know that there are shops which do the same job for around $200 bucks.

Has someone tried out the invisible bumper shield before and if yes, can you provide some guidance on this please?

Thanks
Seth

Use a detailing shop...Still decent money but they will probably do a better job applying it (than in your driveway.) It's VERY difficult getting it on yourself without any bubbles. It works fine not really sure what kind of answer your looking for. Even though dealers are high in most other cases you will get what you pay for.

I would be surprised if dealer keeps anyone on staff to perform this work. More likely they simply subcontract the work to a vendor,...maybe the one you would use anyway.

good luck
