Front End Protection
I'm new to the forum with a question. In the summer I bought a red 08 coupe. I live in the northeast in the snow belt. I just bought a front end mask to protect the front of the car during the snow months because they dump a lot of salt, sand, and cinders on the road which in turn causes a lot of stone chips in the front of the car. On the instructions it states that if moisture gets under the mask it could cause the paint to cloud and that the mask should be removed and allowed to air dry if it gets wet. Now I don't know if I should put it on, I bought it to protect the paint not damage it. I know they're ugly and intend on taking it off after the winter. Does anyone have any experience with these?

RE: Front End Protection
I agree completely that they are ugly, I only wanted to put it on for the few snowy months. The mask I bought is an oem Honda part and it saysto remove it if it gets wet. Does it make sense to sell an exterior item that is supposed to be removed if it gets wet. I just looked at other masks online and they say that theirs are self drying and can get wet.
