ok waited days for my light bulbs to show up, they finally did today. i get my passenger one put in fast n was easy....then comes driver side and a cant get the thing to unscrew to release my bulb its like its jammed!! is there a way to get it to release or am i looking at taking my whole headlight out to fix it??[:@] please let me know thanks

 

you know - headlight sockets (stock ones) can get very caroded. You probly just need to grab some pliers and give it a few good yanks.

When in doubt, pour some coke cola on it (im serious btw)

and if all else fails, the headlights them selves come out very easy. just a few screws and they slide out - i hope this helps.

 

I wouldn't pour liquid anywhere near that wiring.

Just wiggle it a bunch. it should come out just like the other one did. Those things can get really stuck though....I know it is frustrating. Stick with it.

 

or u could loose nhe screws on the back of the light bracket

 

^^^ that may help, but can be difficult as well ..... a Z-driver helps with that.

if you are referring to the plastic piec that you have to twist/unscrew slightly to the the bulb out and not the wiring something I have VERY CAREFULLY done in the past is take a flathead screwdriver place it on one of the fins close to where it forms a 90 with the plastic piece and gently tap on the screwdriver with a hammer... if I am misunderstanding the situation then disregard all this *L*

SWEET! I'm glad it worked.... I'm always afraid to suggest that since someone may get carried away and snap those fins off, but done properly it works like a charm!
