my emerald metal flakebonnet has a couple of 'polished out' clearcoat areas is there a reasonably easy way to get rid of the silicon residue from mcguires polish and some advise on touchup would be appreciated preferably with a spray can.Cheers

 

If you use a clay wash it should remove some of that residue/old wax.
