has anyone blacked out there 03-07 headlight housing?? if so i was just wondering what kind of paint should i use?

What i did on my last car and am going to do on my 03 accord coupe is first scuff the chrome part with sandpaper, then primer it and lastly paint it with flat black high temp engine enamel paint. I recommend either 500ยบ or 1000ยบ engine enamal to be safe. Worked great on last car and should look just as good on this car.

 

i ended up using 649c (1200) high engine paint.
