I saw this Rustoleum brand engine paint at WalMart. On the can, the head of the engine is painted, but I thought that maybe it could be used for the valve cover. The paint is supposed to withstand temps up to 500 degrees. It's a little pricey, but I think I wanna buy a can and try it out on the valve cover on my current engine just to see if it lasts. If it works, then I may use it in the future when doing an engine swap to make things look a little better.

If any one else has already tried this and can give me the final verdict, you may save me about $10.
