Hi everyone im a new user but i got a good question.....I have a 96 honda accord lx....my friend has a pair of skyline r33 black housing headlights sitting around....we put them up to my car and its almost a perfect fit.....does anyone have anything to say about this? like would i run into any problems or would it even work out? I just wanna know before i start taking the headlights out of my car. Thanks! - Ben

 

Do you have any idea what model and year they are for? Is there a serial number or something that you could google?

 

well im not near them right now but im telling you now....it looks like a close fit, ill just need a little body work dont to the fenders so that the little gap it will leave is covered.....any ideas around that?

 

how do you plan on securing them to the car? the bolt pattern will be different for sure if they arent made for your Accord.

 

Offtopic - Velocifero , your accord looks great, 95 EX ? In canada we're not allowed to remove those yellow corner lights =P ,its a must to keep them able to flare b the sides haha.

 

i think if you can rewire the light and stuff in i think its should be ok as long as you can ghetto rig the lights to fit on the car.

 

well i started and so far so good....im gonna need to cut a little into my body kit but nothing crazy....and i will need to do some molding/body work to where the side markers go cause there is a small gap....as far as the wiring goes....its A ok....i needed to do a little cutting where the stock headlights were placedbut so far so good and nothing is harmed and if i wanted i can still put the stock ones beack on...i got a picture on my other computer of the process so far.....so ill post them up when i get a chance

 

how about u just go and get u some r33 conversion head lights but i wounldnt gurrante u that u find some... just keep it the way its is and save ur money
