Ok so Pimp might be a little strong but my 1998 Honda Accord LX is looking pretty ragged these days and my daughter hides when we ride around town.

The car has tons of issues and like 400,000 miles but I'm not ready to put her to pasture. Instead I want to invest some money into her looks and if she dies afterwards at least she will die in style. Kind of like Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino when he buys his suit right before he gets himself all shot up. (Actually I think she will probably last me a few more years but I know the risk).

SO here are my plans-- Your input will be greatly appreciated. Any other ideas would also be nice to hear.

New front bumper (current bumper is cracked)- I probably get a stock-style bumper but if you know of a not too flashy after market bumper with fog lights that is what I would prefer.

New front headlight housing. The front lights are all scratched.

New paint- I have an excellent person who will do all the body and paint for reasonable. Any color codes you recommend. I was thinking something metallic and blue but I'm open to anything.

New interior- The interior now is trashed. Anybody know of someone reasonable but good in Sacramento or Los Angeles.

New driver side bucket seat? Any ideas on how to get my seat more comfortable?

New tires and rims- Nothing too crazy like rims that spin backwards but something descent around the car's stock size or a little larger would be fine. Nothing too crazy expensive but descent.

It has 101,000 miles on it. and this is what it looks. LOOKS FAST... but it is not... LOL

 

i would say red is much better which you can use ....
