Well the 35W have like 1k more lumens than standard halogen and 55W has like 2k or something.... I figured I'm already blinding people with regular HID, I'm not going to burn their retinas with 55W....

I think I might just have to pick up a set of those 55's for my low beams!!!! Luckily for everyone else, the tC has the top of the reflector shielded so the cutoff is pretty good for conversion kits.

Off topic :
To finch13 and falkore24 : First of all I apologize about the schooled thing if I overreacted. And if I have the wrong info on the bulbs on the 05 Accord then I am wrong that's one reason why I said "AS FAR AS I KNOW", if that's the wrong info then I'm sorry. I just assumed since the 05's have bulbs similar to the 03 CRV's. Just because of the headlamp orientation -meaning it didn't look like the 98-02's which was longer and not squarish ( just like my CRV). We are all here to help the thread starter but if somebody starts to say "listen d@#$*** -your so bright you're giving the wrong info" then it just became personal as opposed to saying "dude that's the wrong info -this is the right blah blah blah". I don't mind criticism as long as it is said in the right way as opposed to like talking to a child -heck even to child you shouldn't even talk that way. Now back to the topic.....................

Default hid kit installation on 05 accord v6

Hi all
all of your input was very helpful---i got a conversion kit and am ready to install.
i noticed when i replaced my halogen bulbs a while back i had to go through the wheel well as noted in the owners handbook--on the drivers side--the side where i will connect the relay because the battery is right there---is there an easy way to get at the bulb?
stupid honda made the hood taper so that the low beam bulbs are really hard to reach.

also---did anyone have an issue with running the plug from the relay to the passenger side bulb/ballast?
i was thinking of running the cord around the back but not sure if the cord will be long enough. what did you guys do?

thanks
