so i couldnt find to much but i know i saw it before on the forums... If i want to buy HID headlights for my 03 coupe. Do i need to switch just the lightbulb or do i have to switch the whole headlight unit? Also is Sylvania Silverstar the most common ones to buy? THANKS!

silverstars are just typical halogen replacement bulbs. nuthin special. HID is totally different. you need bulbs, ballasts, wiring, etc. itll run you about 350-900 dollars depending on the quality. if u want to just stick with good lookin halogens, get some matrix SHOW bulbs. they look bitchin and look like HIDs for the most part. hope this helped.

hmm it definitly did.. yeah i didtn understand the difference before.. i just thought the HID was just a brighter light then the regular ones... well thanks!! ne other tips? planning on getting them tonight.. and am going to go with just the bulbs....

Thanks but i just got back from installing some silverstars.. they arent ultra ones but once i get this post finshed ill go downstairs and take a pic... then edit it back up here.. they look SWEEET they r white with a very very light tint of blue.. its awesome! definitly better then the stock ones considering the fact that wen i installed one i jsut turned it on to see the difference. definitly happy. i got them for 25 bucks for both too! at target. i work there so i get 10percent discount.. then i got a 5 dollar giftcard for being a good worker. and the total was like 23.42 definitly excited.. just for the hell of it but did anyone else ever buy the silverstars but not the ultra??? thanks!!
