I say white because it is possible to get a whitish halogen. There is absolutely no halogen bulb on the market that will give you a 5000k or higher color, at all. So don't even think of blue or purple as an option until you get HIDs. Some halogens can give you a whiteish color but they are really high wattage and don't last very long. Do I really have to say anything more?

 

the bulbs before represent the lights after...its not dark out so i cudnt do it on a street

are u serious??...look at the last picture..they are two completely diff hues...one is more of a white where the other is more of a blue..but the white is brighter

 

looks alot more blue than purple. doesnt look bad for fake HIDs though(same as any streetglow or Nokya bulb).

Did you buy three sets? And are these your pictures? That blue one isn't going to look like an HID just a white halogen. I guess they are really coating them with blue tint now, that's why it's not as bright.

 

no no no u guys arent gettin the picture....these arent the ones i just bought that said they were HID that are purple....these are the other two that i have laying around....my "purple" set hasnt come in the mail yet....it should be here tomorrow...when i get those then i will post them up..but as for now...these are the only ones i have...

 

Well that purple is going to look very similar to the blueish pair you have, it may have a light purple tint instead of blue. Don't expect anymore color than the set you have now.

 

why not just save another $30 and buy a REAL set of TRUE hids, instead of some imitator.

btw, if you were to put ur car next to a car with actual hids with the same "color" temp those bulbs say they are, they WILL look completely different, beacsue my bud bought one of those thinking he would have the same look as i did, well they looks totaly different

 

very nice set u have there but it almos looks like they are too bright....for oncoming traffic i mean..i like the color tho...jus a tad bluer and u have what i want....i dunno...ill see what they look like tomorrow..because the lights i ave now...well..the blue set...im actually pretty satisfied with...ive used them for a while now...so if the ones i get tomorrow are a lil darker in color and brighter in light then im good...may not be HID but ill be iight...im gettn HID later on in life..lol
