Not necessary as many people have never had a relay kit and still no problem, but still I recommend you get one nonetheless .

its basically just insurance for your electrical system. if you live on the edge, then you may not want it. however if you get the 55 watt ones, you really should get one

Default Relay Harness

Just got a set of 35w 4300K low beams for my 06. Do I need the relay harness? I noticed that the headlight fuses from the factory are only 10amps that seems low. Any suggestions?

Yeah but HIDs are neither audio nor visual.....

what is it everyone says about the wiring is reversed or something when installing DDM HID kits?

i'll be installing mine this week and i want to do it right.

The polarity is reversed on the headlight plug for the 5th gen, you have nothing to worry about.

Only the 5th gen? Do you know if the 6th gen has the same issue?

No it doesn't. They are straight up plug and play on a 6th gen.
