Default HIDs in Halo Projection headlights.

Been trying to install HIDs in my headlights but some people tell me that projection headlights will "melt" with HIDs, some others says they'll be just fine. Should I or should I not?? They're aftermarket DEPO projection/halo headlights. Any suggestions??

Hi Member...I was just in Peroia a couple of months ago...nice area.

I'm gonna let some one come in and comment about this for someone who may have already had some experience doing this..

I have DEPO headlights with HIDs without a problem. The myth that HIDs run so much hotter than halogens is not true.

Oh really?? I'm thinking into swaping the halo projectors for some JDM black housed ones. Thanks for the advise though I might as well keep them and just mount some 6k HIDs.
