Get some monofilament fishing line (heavy)and run it behind the emblem you wish to remove. If it goes a 1/4" and stops dead , regardless of your efforts to "saw" it off, then there's likely a pin. If it goes all the way through then it's just glue and the emblem will come off. As previously mentioned goof off or goo gone will remove the sticky which will need to be sealed or waxed once you are done. Pins through the metal will need to be filled and painted by a pro.

goof off would not be somthing id recoment using on your car as it is a solvent. it will start to strip off the clear coat and the paint go with goo gone as it is more of a cleaner

yeah because everybody has spare piano wire lying around. im such a disgrace to the asian race i do not know how to play piano
