Default how will insurance handle this?

ok so i stopped behind this truck that was stopped in the middle of the road and i left room, wasnt honking or anything i was patient

then without notice (i didnt even see his head move to look in rear view mirror) he put the car in reverse and before i could evn grab the shifter to revers he slammed on the gas, squeaked his wheels and ran right into the front of my car.

the cop said that he was totally at fault so my question is

when it comes time to fix it how do you think the insurance will handle it

will they just put on new color matched parts or what?

and do you think that if i pay some extra when they are painting it (if they do)
will the paint the whole car? if we pay some extra?

did you jump out of you car screaming what the f? causeI so would have. insurance will only pay for the damaged area to be painted tho you could probally pay extra to get the whole thing painted.

He backed into you so the accident is his fault. It is up to you to aquire a copy of the accident report. This should be sent to your insurance company and let them duke it out. Talk to yor insurance company ASAP.

When I got hit, I had to pay nothing to insurance. They sent me to Collision Revision and they used parts from a salvage yard and repainted them. Lucky for me, the guy who color matches the paint is rated #5 in the whole USA

i think were gonna call it in monday
me and my mom cuz i'm still a minor

but when the cop came we both filled out a info sheet then traded and the cop said when we call the insurance company they should pull up the report

but yea it's been established all around(me, him the cop) that it was his fault
