OK so I got the headliner out which was a pain in the BUM as well as the sunroof out. Thought I'd post a few pics up and let you guys see my progress.

Let me know what you think? By the way, I still haven't figured out how to get the seat beat seperate from the plastic pillar or what to do to change the color. So if you have any ideas, definately let me know.

I've never personally pulled one of those pillars off.... can you give us a shot of the backside or whatever it is that's holding the seat belt to it?

Worst case scenario I would think you could dunk the whole assembly in the dye just be sure to dry any metal parts really well once you're done. Since you're painting the Side trim anyway it's not going to hurt as long as you don't get any rust.

Sorry about that....lol I used duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint to paint it. I didn't even really clean the carpet real good, just vacuumed it good and shot it with 3 or 4 coats of paint. It only took like 15 minutes to dry good and I had the carpet out of the car, cleaned, painted and reinstalled in about 2 hours.

I don't have my car at home with me, it's at my dad's house with no seats in it..lol but whenever i get another off day and start working on it again I'll take some shots of it and post em up for ya. Basically it's just two 12mm bolts that are under the pillar. You got to take one off, then slide the assembly up and get the bottom one. I have been wondering if honda/acura seatbelts are universal, cause I think integras have black belts and if they fit that would be awesome. If anyone knows let me know about that.

Hey homie heres a pic of what I did with my interior door panels. Just to give you a hint of what they might look like. I painted my trim blue though to match the exterior color.

I like your idea about the carpet. Thats my next project. But im waiting to get my seats wrapped in leather first. So while they do that I can paint the bottom carpet. Looks good keep it up. I used Duplicolor automotive interior for all my STUFF. [8D]

Awesome man. I already have 2 of my panels painted. They look extremely good. I'll post pics of them as soon as I get them. I did my all black. I just gotta figure out how to paint the door handles because of the chrome piece. I don't know how to get them apart. I might have to just tape it off.

if you are talking about the interior door handles I'm not sure that it's easily dis-assembled, I think you'd have better luck with either taping it off or wrap it in saran wrap.

Yea i had to use that blue painters tape to mask off the chrome part of the door handle. I recommend using a brush to get inside that gap where the screw is. You might need to if you handle is similar to mine which i dont know...
