Exactly! I was about to ask the same question! I'm thinking about byuing these, not sure if to go with black or chrome but I don'y know if they will fit HID bulb?? Anyone knows? Please clear this up for us. Thanks in advance!!!

 

Hey all. Trust me...projector headlights on eBay are no good. Check my other post "Projector Headlights". They look good, but the low beam sucks on both the 98-2002 version and the 2003-2005 version. I bought the 98-02 Version and my friend got the other. The HALO rings are nicely lit...ALMOST everything is good. However, if you are going to try HID...it will not MELT anything for HID produces less heat. But the thing is, you have to modify the socket to stick the bulb in because trust me, I spent an hour or even MORE trying to modify the hole so it can be big enough for the HID H1 Light. You need to spend time if you want to make these headlights right. If you use these headlights without HIDs...there is no point in puting these headlights on because the light output is worse than a 88 Toyota Camry. I actually made the comparison. It sucks. Right now, My firend and I are figuring out what we can do to make the projector shine better...like the BMWs with HID. The adjustors in these headlight sucks and for what I have tried so far...it doesn't even work. Hang on for a moment and let me find a way to make it work. I will let all of you know if its a good buy or not. Right now...I don't recommend it. Unless, you don't drive @ night much or @ all.

Hmmm...very interesting. I thought I could put HIDs in those. How about using HIDs in factory headlamp?

 

I just install mcculloch conversion kit in my accord 06. After reading several posts, is it even possible to buy the projector housing make for the hids. Thanks.
