Default map dome light

i bought the blue led lighting for my dome light just to see how it would look..it looks great and now i plan to change all interior light and exterior (tag light). but for some reason when the map dome light is off, like when i am driving, you can see that the led light is still on but very dim. this occurs even when the car is turned off.

is the light suppost to stay on? i dont want to bulb to die..

Sorry to rain in on your thread, but what types of bulbs (LED? and what make did you use?) do the dome light and the two driver and passenger lights (00 Accord) take? I also want to change the interior of my Accord to make it cool blue.

Mine did the same thing. I noticed that when I changed the dome light from the Off position to the Door position, they turned off. So I leave it set on the Door position now.
