Hey I was just wondering how much it would be to install a moon roof doing it yourself? And has anyone ever done this?

 

Likely 5 grand or more after you screw it up and have to have a new roof welded on! Honestly, I've no idea. That's far from a do it yourself thing.

 

I know shops that have done it and a friend of mine years ago used to do it... If you screw it up you get a leak for life and/or a nasty hole in your roof. DIY would probably be about $350 for a pop up moon roof, $500 for a power sun roof (guessing). I'd be hesitant to try it myself just because of the tolerances of everything....
