I worked on lowering my car just yesterday and i would really appreciate you guys opinions. I used Tokico Illumina and Eibach ProKit. It's sitting on 18" rims and 225/40/18 tires.

Man thats freaken sweet.Did you have to do any modification to your wheels? I have the same set up. 225 40 18 but im not able to lower mine because they said the fenders will rub. Did you have the same problem? Anyways it looks nice. No more fender gap. How much did everything cost you and how does your ride feel now?

Hey jman. Your ride looks pretty good they way it sits. If I buy a set of coilovers do you think that will the problem I have with my wheels sticking out? Its only sticking out by an inch but when I bounced my car I noticed even that small inch will hurt my wheels if they rub on the fender. Thats my next big upgrade and I want it to go right.

Are your tires that close to the fenders already??? What size tires are you running? You can always get stiffer coilovers so the tires wont rub the fenders while hitting bumps...

you could get your fenders rolled or do it yourself.

Heres the deal man. I've got 18's with 225/40R18 Kumho tires. I went to a local shop who carries Eibach springs to get my car lowered. He was looking at my car and said if he dropped it 1.5 inches it would rub because the tires stick out just about an inch. I've read about people who roll their fenders but I know theres got to be a much better way of doing this than having to roll up my fenders. I've been reading alot about coilover suspensions lately. Im looking at those Tein Basic Damper Coilover system. It looks pretty good. What I wanna know is if I do buy one of these will I be able to lower my car even the tire is sticking about an inch? Is it possible for me to save the trouble of having to roll my fender and just purchase some kind of kit that will push my tires back in or correct the offset some way?

Looks good....How much of a drop is that? I have a 1.5" H&R drop on the way and i'm anxious to know how it'll look.
