Hey jman. Your ride looks pretty good they way it sits. If I buy a set of coilovers do you think that will the problem I have with my wheels sticking out? Its only sticking out by an inch but when I bounced my car I noticed even that small inch will hurt my wheels if they rub on the fender. Thats my next big upgrade and I want it to go right.
Are your tires that close to the fenders already??? What size tires are you running? You can always get stiffer coilovers so the tires wont rub the fenders while hitting bumps...
Heres the deal man. I've got 18's with 225/40R18 Kumho tires. I went to a local shop who carries Eibach springs to get my car lowered. He was looking at my car and said if he dropped it 1.5 inches it would rub because the tires stick out just about an inch. I've read about people who roll their fenders but I know theres got to be a much better way of doing this than having to roll up my fenders. I've been reading alot about coilover suspensions lately. Im looking at those Tein Basic Damper Coilover system. It looks pretty good. What I wanna know is if I do buy one of these will I be able to lower my car even the tire is sticking about an inch? Is it possible for me to save the trouble of having to roll my fender and just purchase some kind of kit that will push my tires back in or correct the offset some way?
Well you could get a camber kit and set the camber so the tires tucked in like at the top. But then you would be putting uneven wear on your tires and you dont want that. My suggestion would be to buy some adjustable dampening coilovers so you can adjust the ride height and the stiffness. And trust me if you have fenderwell gap, even lowering it a 1/2 an inch is gonna make it look sooo much better....

Thank you everybody for your replies!!Now to answer the questions...the ride is actually not that bumpy(it is stiffer that stock)and it handles alot better!! ProKits are designed to drop your car 1.5"-1.75".No camber kit installed since i have yet to take it for alignment check.I'll let you guys know.Thank again and have a nice holiday!!!
